Caspara LLC (“Caspara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of all users of Caspara’s website (the “Site”). Caspara is committed to keeping collected information and information you provide to us confidential, secure, and private. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices.

This Privacy Policy governs data collection and usage through caspara.co. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you agree to this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of updates or changes to our terms and conditions and/or this Privacy Policy means you accept such changes. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not provide us with Personal Information (as defined below) and please refrain from using our Site.

Information Collected

Caspara collects information that you provide to us. Examples of personal information that we may collect include, but are not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, email address, birth date, gender, and payment information, as well as hair/scalp history, goals, and other information you voluntarily provide related to your services (collectively, “Personal Information”). This Site collects Personal Information that you knowingly and willingly provide, including through intake forms, surveys, bookings, account creation (if applicable), and emails or other communications.

It is our intent to use Personal Information only for the purpose for which it was requested and any additional uses specifically described in this Privacy Policy.

Caspara may also collect information from third parties that help us provide services or operate our business (for example, our booking platform, payment processors, marketing/email providers, analytics providers, or customer support tools). We may also collect certain technical information from users of our Site, such as IP address, browser type, approximate location, device identifiers, and operating system type to help maintain and improve the Site and our services.

Google Analytics

Caspara uses a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of this Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. We use the information we receive from Google Analytics only to improve the Site.

Google Analytics may collect the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site. We do not combine information collected through Google Analytics with Personal Information. Although Google Analytics may place a cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this Site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits by disabling cookies in your browser (see “Cookies” below).

  • Coordinate services provided by Caspara trichologists and other Caspara professionals;

  • Send operational communications (e.g., confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates);

  • Send marketing communications (where permitted by law), such as promotions, product updates, studio updates, and educational content;

  • Improve our Site, services, and offerings, including through analytics and internal research; and

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

We may share Personal Information with service providers and vendors who help us operate (for example, booking/CRM platforms, payment processors, email/SMS tools, analytics providers, auditors, consultants, and IT providers), solely as needed to provide services and run our business.

Caspara does not sell your identifying information to third parties. Caspara does not trade or rent your identifying information with third parties unless: (i) we have your prior permission; (ii) we are required to do so by law; or (iii) we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, legal process, to prevent fraud, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Caspara, our clients, or others.

We may disclose Personal Information, without prior notice to you, to maintain, safeguard, and/or preserve the rights and/or property of Caspara and to protect the personal safety of users of the Site and/or the public, where permitted by law.

Cookies

Caspara may use “cookies,” which are small text files stored on your device. Cookies help ensure our Site content is presented effectively and help us understand Site usage.

You can decline cookies by activating a setting on your browser. If you choose to decline cookies, some functionality of our Site may be limited.

While we may use cookies, we do not use them to track users across unrelated third-party websites over time for profiling purposes. Many browsers include a “Do Not Track” setting. Caspara’s Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Security Methods

Caspara has implemented commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information, including the use of security infrastructure and encryption in transit (such as SSL), where applicable. SSL encryption is typically indicated by a lock icon in your browser.

Although we strive to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee unauthorized parties will never be able to defeat our safeguards or use information for improper purposes. Children

Caspara does not knowingly collect Personal Information from users under the age of 13, and no one under the age of 13 is authorized to submit information on our Site. If we learn we have inadvertently collected Personal Information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

The Site may contain links to other websites that may be of interest. We do not endorse those sites. While we aim to link only to sites that share high standards, we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of each site you visit. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected on external websites.

Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information; Opting Out of Communications

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Information by contacting us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below. Caspara may retain your Personal Information for as long as we deem reasonably necessary for business purposes and/or as long as required by law, including to maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Caspara reserves the right to modify, expand, or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the Site and reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site indicates your acceptance of these changes. If you do not agree with changes, you should stop using the Site and notify us that you do not want your information used in accordance with the updated Policy. If we make material changes, we may provide notice via email (if we have one on file) and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Site.
